This Policy explains what Fastie collects and how we use it when you use the website and study tools.

Account identifiers
If you sign in, we store identifiers from Google or email auth (such as email and provider user id).

Optional school profile fields (grade, classes) may be stored to personalize study help.

Messages you send in AI chat may be processed to generate replies and, when signed in, may be saved to your history.

Images and files you attach are processed so the model can read worksheets; store only what you need.

Signed-in notes, tags, summaries, and flashcard decks are stored so they persist across sessions.

Syllabus or planner entries you create are stored on your account when that feature is used.

We may log timestamps, rough region, IP-derived signals, and user-agent for security and reliability.

Browser storage may hold session flags, guest mode, legal consent, and UI preferences.

Prompts and relevant attachments may be sent to model providers (e.g. Google Gemini, OpenAI including GPT-5 Nano) to generate responses.

Provider terms
Those providers process data under their own privacy terms. Avoid uploading secrets you would not show a tutor.

Hosting, database, and auth vendors process data as needed to run Fastie.

If lightweight product analytics are used, they are for reliability—not selling profiles.

Account content is kept while your account remains active so your notes and decks stay available.

Limited security logs may be kept temporarily to investigate abuse.

Guests can chat with less account storage; notes and decks still require sign-in.

Use with appropriate permission if you are under the age of digital consent in your region. Schools may impose extra rules on managed devices.
